Cooking secrets


Pasta isn’t too easy to cook, in fact it is necessary to respect few essential indications. The first step is to choose the right pot. It should be big enough and taller than its diameter to contain enough water. Usually the right amount of water is at least 1 lt. of water per each 100 gr. of pasta. In the water must be added a bit of salt, usually when water is boiling.

Standard times of cooking can’t be defined, because they depend from the shape and from its depth. The right cooking time is when pasta become soft at the external part, while its internal part is still hard (the so called “pasta al dente”).
